Can an insert obstruct a respirator's valves or sensors?
The company publishes no finished-mask evidence, and it offers no respirator, mask or insert.
The Terms of Use state that, as of their effective date, the Water, Textiles, Food packaging, and Medical devices chapters describe Research Applications, and that they do not describe finished products currently available from C-POLAR for those uses. What the Textiles chapter publishes is the material: the NanoFlashing™ Textile has a permanent positive polarity, a fixed positive charge, and the fabric stays waterproof, breathable, strong and washable. The valves, sensors and airways of a respirator belong to that respirator, and whether anything may be placed near them is decided by its manufacturer and by the body that certified it.
The Terms of Use state: “A test of C-POLAR material, a component, or a prototype does not establish the performance of a finished product that incorporates it.”
