Who pays for replacement if a tenant installs an incompatible product in supplied equipment?
Who maintains equipment and who buys the next filter is decided by the parties who own and occupy the premises.
This site sells no products, and C-POLAR is not party to that arrangement. The manufacturer and seller of a finished product are responsible for its design, manufacture, labeling, instructions, claims, sale, and warranty, except for a responsibility C-POLAR expressly accepts in a Separate Agreement. The label for the NanoFlashing™ Air Filter instructs: “Do not use where this filter would restrict airflow beyond the system's specification.” and “Improper installation can reduce airflow or damage the equipment.” A product that is not the specified filter is the responsibility of whoever made and sold it.
Who pays is decided by the agreement between the parties and by the law that governs it. NanoFlashing™ is a technology; the name, rating and sale of a product that carries it are set by that product's maker and seller.
