Can a hotel compare energy use per occupied night instead of per calendar day?
This site publishes no energy figure for a building it has not measured, and it does not carry a measurement across from one building to another.
The Validation page reports measurements at installations it describes by kind and place, among them a financial landmark in London over six months from March 2024 to September 2024, measured before and after the air handling unit filters were changed to NanoFlashing™. That is one building over one period, in its own air handling units. The Terms of Use state: “A reported result describes only what the identified test found.” and “Use evidence, specifications, instructions, and warnings specific to the actual finished product and use.”
How a hotel divides its own utility data, by night or by day, is its own accounting, and the company makes no statement about what such a figure would show.
