Would cutting a sheet to fit leave an unsupported edge?

The label forbids cutting the filter or its frame.

The NanoFlashing™ Air Filter label directs that a filter whose media is torn, crushed, wet or visibly damaged not be installed, that the filter and its frame not be cut, folded, trimmed, bent, punctured or altered, and that the system not be run with no filter in the track. A filter that has been altered is outside the directions on its label. Every commercial NanoFlashing™ product is made by a manufacturing partner, in their facility, in their format. The manufacturing partners named on the About page are Aero Pro, AQ Filter, BGE Indoor Air Quality Solutions, Olympic International and VOLZ Filters.
