The fit and the operating limits are confirmed against the label on the filter and the specification of the customer's own equipment.

Can a household unit be positioned near a stove without exceeding its intended conditions?
The label directs that the filter is not used where oil mist reaches it or where the media may become wet.

Does the installation need a clear space for later filter removal?
The installation and the replacement both need the filter access to be reachable.
The label sets the installation in five steps: switch the system off at the thermostat or at the unit's disconnect, remove the used filter and discard it as directed, fit the filter into the track with the airflow arrow pointing toward the blower, check that it sits square with no gap at the frame, and close the access panel before switching the system back on. It states: “Air that passes around a filter is not treated by it.” and “Improper installation can reduce airflow or damage the equipment.” It also instructs: “Do not use where this filter would restrict airflow beyond the system's specification.” The label covers the filter; the commissioning record for the system, including airflow and pressure readings after the change, belongs to the operator of that system. What MERV rating and size do I need to buy for my home furnace, and does it come in standard filter sizes?
The company publishes no single MERV rating or size for a home furnace; the size and rating of a NanoFlashing™ filter come from the partner who makes it.

The Air page names ReinFire™, a NanoFlashing™ Air Filter “made for homes and buildings facing wildfire smoke, fine particles, seasonal air-quality pressure, and everyday airborne particles through the year”, and it lists five ReinFire™ manufacturing and distribution partners: Aero Pro, AQ Filter, BGE Indoor Air Quality Solutions, Olympic International and VOLZ Filters. This site sells no products. The Terms of Use name two online stores, shop.cpolartechnologies.com and shopusa.cpolartechnologies.com; those two stores are C-POLAR's own, and a price shown there and every purchase from them are governed only by the terms presented there. The Air page also states: “Government agencies tell people to use a MERV-13 filter, but that rating is measured on a clean, brand-new filter.” The Validation page states that NanoFlashing™ “maintains MERV 15A performance under ASHRAE testing”; that rating is LMS Technologies, Report 6847, 5 November 2024, under ASHRAE 52.2-2017 with Appendix J, on a 24 × 24 × 30 in. pocket filter, and a rating belongs to the construction that was tested.
