Can I use the material in a homemade box-fan air cleaner?
The label does not cover one, and the company publishes no home-built assembly.

The label for the NanoFlashing™ Air Filter instructs: “Do not cut, fold, trim, bend, puncture or alter the filter or its frame.” It states: “The frame edges can be sharp.” It also states: “A used filter holds the dust and microorganisms it has taken out of the air.” Every commercial NanoFlashing™ product is made by a manufacturing partner, in their facility, in their format. The manufacturing partners named on the About page are Aero Pro, AQ Filter, BGE Indoor Air Quality Solutions, Olympic International and VOLZ Filters. NanoFlashing™ is a technology; the name, rating and sale of a product that carries it are set by that product's maker and seller.
