Which product-specific information is available to responders dealing with fire, spill or damaged stock?
The label sets disposal and handling for the filter, and what a fire or a spill leaves is assessed by the people handling it.
The label states: “Dispose of the used filter and its packaging as ordinary household or commercial waste under Federal, State and local requirements. Do not burn. Do not reuse the filter.” and “Do not install a filter whose media is torn, crushed, wet or visibly damaged.” It also states: “A used filter holds the dust and microorganisms it has taken out of the air.” Waste created by a fire or a spill is assessed under the requirements that apply to that incident, by the people handling it.
The Validation page states: “NanoFlashing™ complies with UL 900, ULC-S111, DIN 53438 and EU RoHS.” The records for UL 900 and ULC-S111 are Intertek Building & Construction reports on filter articles, and the records for DIN 53438 are RST Rail System Testing Reports P60-22-0003 and P60-24-0297, on filter media.
