What official advice is available for accidental contact, ingestion or damage involving the product?
The filter's directions and caution are on the company's label, which is on the product itself, and the company publishes no other advice.
The NanoFlashing™ Air Filter label directs that a filter whose media is torn, crushed, wet or visibly damaged not be installed, that the filter and its frame not be cut, folded, trimmed, bent, punctured or altered, and that the system not be run with no filter in the track. It also directs that the filter be kept out of reach of children, and states that the frame edges can be sharp.
For a used filter the label directs gloves, and eye protection and a dust mask where dust is heavy, and that hands are washed after handling.
