Could repeated flexing of a pouch release particles from a treated layer?
The company publishes no flexing test, no particle-release measurement and no mass balance of any kind.
NanoFlashing™ is a permanent positive polarity engineered into filter media itself. It is a physical property of the filter. A charge is a physical property. It is not a substance or a mixture of substances. The company's statement that the filter emits nothing into the air passing through it is about a filter in use, and it is not a result for a flexed package. The Terms of Use state that, as of their effective date, the Water, Textiles, Food packaging, and Medical devices chapters describe Research Applications, and that they do not describe finished products currently available from C-POLAR for those uses.
