Which food types, contact durations and contact temperatures are actually covered by the submitted evidence?

A published result belongs to the article that was tested, under the conditions named in the report that recorded it.

Apart from the Strawberry Test, the company publishes no food type, no contact duration and no contact temperature as tested conditions for food contact. The one food comparison the company publishes is the Strawberry Test: three strawberries held at 26°C for thirteen days, one stored in a glass jar, one wrapped in polyester, and one wrapped in NanoFlashing™ Food Packaging. The conditions listed on the Validation page are heavy dust loaded, fast air flow, used filter for 1 year, after 60 washes, after 2 years of storage, and after 60C for 64 days. Those are the conditions the material was tested under, not food-contact conditions. The organisms named on the Validation page are the viruses SARS-CoV-2, human coronavirus 229E, Coxsackievirus B6, bovine coronavirus, pseudo-type SARS-CoV-2, influenza A H3N2 and Phi6 bacteriophage; the bacteria Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Enterococcus faecalis; and the fungi Aspergillus fumigatus, Aspergillus brasiliensis, Aspergillus niger and Candida albicans. The Terms of Use state: “A reported result describes only what the identified test found.”

The Terms of Use state that, as of their effective date, the Water, Textiles, Food packaging, and Medical devices chapters describe Research Applications, and that they do not describe finished products currently available from C-POLAR for those uses.
