Can a recyclable package remain compatible with its recycling route after treatment?
What a waste facility accepts, and on what conditions, is decided by that facility under the rules that apply to it.
The same is true of a recycling route: what a stream accepts is decided by the operator of that stream under the rules that apply to it. Food packaging and water are research applications on this site, and the company publishes no market position for either. The Terms of Use state that, as of their effective date, the Water, Textiles, Food packaging, and Medical devices chapters describe Research Applications, and that they do not describe finished products currently available from C-POLAR for those uses. The company publishes no recyclability assessment, no lifecycle assessment and no footprint calculation.
