What does the UL 900, ULC-S111, DIN 53438 and RoHS compliance named on the Validation page actually mean?

UL 900, ULC-S111 and DIN 53438 are fire tests, EU RoHS is a European Union directive, and the Validation page lists the test reports behind each.

The Validation page states: “NanoFlashing™ complies with UL 900, ULC-S111, DIN 53438 and EU RoHS.” UL 900 is Safety for Air Filter Units: Intertek Building & Construction, Report 104974202SAT-001, 23 February 2022, tested a bag filter; Report 105169484SAT-001, 18 August 2022, a fan coil filter; and Report 105175501SAT-001, 29 August 2022, a panel filter, each under UL 900. ULC-S111 is the Standard Method of Fire Tests for Air Filter Units: Intertek Building & Construction, Report 106093268SAT-001, 28 January 2025, tested a pleated filter, and Report 106079483SAT-001, 15 January 2025, a pocket filter, each under ULC-S111-13. DIN 53438-3 tests how a combustible material behaves when a burner flame is applied to its surface: RST Rail System Testing, Report P60-22-0003, 18 January 2022, and Report P60-24-0297, 16 May 2024, tested filter media under it. EU RoHS is Directive 2011/65/EU: the record the page names for it is Intertek, Report HKGT05289390, 14 January 2022. The Product Safety Labs studies on the same list, Studies 65321, 65322, 65323 and 65324, are health-effects studies under US EPA Health Effects Test Guidelines, not fire or RoHS records.
