The OEKO-TEX certificate for the filter media mentions biologically active products. Is NanoFlashing™ one of them?
C-POLAR describes NanoFlashing™ as a physical property, not a substance, and the scope text is OEKO-TEX’s description of the certificate holder’s whole range of filter media.
The Validation page states: “NanoFlashing™ is certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, Product Class II, the class for products in direct contact with skin.” OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 Certificate 17.0.25812 is held by Volz Luftfilter GmbH & Co. KG, one of the manufacturing partners, and it covers a range of Volz filter media, including media sold under other names. Its scope states that the range is “partly finished with biologically active prouducts accepted by OEKO-TEX®” [sic], and it does not say which media in the range that part is. NanoFlashing™ is a permanent positive polarity engineered into filter media itself. It is a physical property of the filter. A charge is a physical property. It is not a substance or a mixture of substances. The company's Statement of Regulatory Status for the NanoFlashing™ Air Filter states: “The filter has not been treated with a biocidal product and does not incorporate one”.
