Does the Eurovent ‘A’ energy class shown on the Validation page mean the filter qualifies for a US ENERGY STAR rating or a tax credit or utility rebate?
No. The A on the Validation page is the energy efficiency class on a Eurovent certificate, and the company publishes no ENERGY STAR listing, tax credit or utility rebate for the filter.
The Validation page names Eurovent Certita Certification, Certificate No. 15.06.011, and states that Eurovent certifies the filter with an A class energy rating. The certificate gives that class as an energy efficiency class based on ISO 16890, for the model PROsyntex PLUS-PM1/70-635-10, with VOLZ LUFTFILTER GmbH & Co. KG as the participant.
