Can external surfaces tolerate the facility's approved cleaning products?
The filter is not cleaned.
The label states: “Do not wash, vacuum, brush, blow out or reuse this filter.” and “Use in dry air only. Do not use in ducts carrying liquid water, steam or oil mist, or anywhere the media may become wet.” The housing of an appliance built around the filter is its maker's, and so are its cleaning instructions.
