The company publishes no guidance on extinguishing media; the choice at a site is set by that site’s own fire plan, and the fire-test reports are named on the Validation page.

The Validation page states that NanoFlashing™ complies with UL 900, ULC-S111, DIN 53438 and EU RoHS, and lists Intertek Building & Construction Reports 105169484SAT-001, 105175501SAT-001, 104974202SAT-001, 106093268SAT-001 and 106079483SAT-001, and RST Rail System Testing Reports P60-22-0003 and P60-24-0297. The NanoFlashing™ Air Filter is a panel air filter for forced-air heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems. It is a dry, solid, finished article. The filter is passive. It draws no power, and it has no power supply, electrode, lamp or reservoir. The label states: “Dispose of the used filter and its packaging as ordinary household or commercial waste under Federal, State and local requirements. Do not burn. Do not reuse the filter.”
