Can a warehouse provide the location and quantity of stored material during a fire?

The warehouse holding the stock holds that record.

For a device produced in the United States, the producer keeps the records set out at 40 C.F.R. § 169.2: the brand name and quantity of devices produced; for each consignment received, the brand name, the shipper’s name and address, the delivering carrier, the date and the quantity; for each consignment shipped, the brand name, the consignee’s name and address, the originating carrier, and the date and quantity; and a current record of the quantity in stock. Are extinguishing-media compatibility questions addressed for the complete stored assembly?

The company publishes no guidance on extinguishing media; the choice at a site is set by that site’s own fire plan, and the fire-test reports are named on the Validation page.

Would fire-damaged stock require a different waste assessment from unused stock?

The label directs that the filter and its packaging go to ordinary waste under the requirements that apply locally, and that it is not burned.

The filter is passive. It draws no power, and it has no power supply, electrode, lamp or reservoir. In a forced-air system, the system’s own fan moves air through the filter. An appliance built around the filter carries its own information.

Can a building's emergency plan identify filters that need replacement after smoke exposure?

The label states when to replace the filter, and that rule covers a smoke event as it covers anything else.

How does the NanoFlashing textile protect firefighters and soldiers who wear it?

The Textile page describes a fabric with a permanent positive polarity, designed for first responders and military, and the Terms of Use describe the Textiles chapter as a Research Application.

The Textile page states: “The NanoFlashing™ Textile has a permanent positive polarity, a fixed positive charge.” It also states: “The fabric stays waterproof, breathable, strong and washable. Specifically designed to protect first responders and military who are exposed to external dangers.” NanoFlashing™ attracts negatively charged particles through electrostatic attraction. When a captured pollutant has a fragile structure, NanoFlashing™ destroys it on contact through a physical mechanism.
