The statement states: “The authorities of Italy, Spain and Belgium apply the Regulation to air cleaners in the same way, as set out at 4.2 to 4.6.” For Italy it cites Report ISS COVID-19 No 12/2021 of the Istituto Superiore di Sanità, 20 May 2021; the Ministry of Health circular of 11 June 2021 on air purification products; and the guidelines for schools adopted by Decree of 26 July 2022. For Spain it cites the Ministry of Health information note on air purifiers of November 2020. For Belgium it cites the Royal Decree of 9 February 2024 on air purification systems against airborne viruses. It also sets out the European Commission's answer of 16 December 2025 to a written parliamentary question. The company publishes no review of any other member state's position.
