Does a wet material recover its original performance after drying?
The company publishes no result for a filter dried after wetting, and the label directs that a filter whose media is wet is not installed.
The label states: “Do not install a filter whose media is torn, crushed, wet or visibly damaged.” and “Use in dry air only. Do not use in ducts carrying liquid water, steam or oil mist, or anywhere the media may become wet.” Its storage direction is: “Store flat or on edge in the original packaging, indoors and dry, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Do not stack loads on the media.”
