Would very high greenhouse humidity affect maintenance frequency?
The label limits the filter to dry air, and the company publishes no maintenance interval for a high-humidity greenhouse.
The company publishes no test in an animal housing or growing space. The conditions tested, listed on the Validation page, are heavy dust loaded, fast air flow, used filter for 1 year, after 60 washes, after 2 years of storage, and after 60C for 64 days. The Terms of Use state: “A reported result describes only what the identified test found.” The label for the NanoFlashing™ Air Filter sets where the filter is used: forced-air heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems in homes, businesses and institutions that take a panel filter of the stated size and run at or below the rated airflow and maximum face velocity. It instructs: “Use in dry air only. Do not use in ducts carrying liquid water, steam or oil mist, or anywhere the media may become wet.” Enquiries about a setting that is not on the label go to [email protected].
