Could poultry-house dust require a different loading assessment from household dust?
The company publishes no test in an animal housing or growing space.
The label for the NanoFlashing™ Air Filter sets where the filter is used: forced-air heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems in homes, businesses and institutions that take a panel filter of the stated size and run at or below the rated airflow and maximum face velocity. The conditions tested, listed on the Validation page, are heavy dust loaded, fast air flow, used filter for 1 year, after 60 washes, after 2 years of storage, and after 60C for 64 days. The Terms of Use state: “A reported result describes only what the identified test found.” The company publishes no loading assessment for poultry-house dust, and it does not treat it as the same as household dust. The label instructs: “Use in dry air only. Do not use in ducts carrying liquid water, steam or oil mist, or anywhere the media may become wet.” Enquiries about a setting that is not on the label go to [email protected].
