Does the unit maintain its shape during fan startup and shutdown?
Whether a unit holds its shape through fan startup and shutdown is a property of the finished filter's construction, which the company does not specify.
The company publishes no pleat geometry, media area, frame specification or deflection data. NanoFlashing™ is a permanent positive polarity engineered into filter media itself. It is a physical property of the filter. Every commercial NanoFlashing™ product is made by a manufacturing partner, in their facility, in their format, and the manufacturer and seller of a finished product are responsible for its design, manufacture, labeling, instructions, claims, sale, and warranty. The label for the NanoFlashing™ Air Filter instructs: “Do not cut, fold, trim, bend, puncture or alter the filter or its frame.” and “Do not install a filter whose media is torn, crushed, wet or visibly damaged.” A filter that has been crushed or visibly damaged is not to be installed, whatever caused the damage.
