Does a laboratory result tell me how the complete product will perform in my room or water system?

A laboratory result states what that test found on what it tested; how a complete product performs in a room is a property of the room, the system and the installation.

The Terms of Use state: “A test of C-POLAR material, a component, or a prototype does not establish the performance of a finished product that incorporates it. Construction, processing, storage, wear, cleaning, other components, and actual use may change the result.” They also state: “Use evidence, specifications, instructions, and warnings specific to the actual finished product and use.” The label for the NanoFlashing™ Air Filter states: “Results in a building depend on the system, the airflow, and how well the filter fits its track.” The nearest published measurements of installed systems are on the Validation page: two identical towers compared at a public hospital in Vancouver, and before-and-after air handling unit measurements at a financial landmark in London, a major international airport in the US and a public university in Melbourne, each over a stated period. At each site the Validation page reports bioaerosols, and at three of them particulates, independently measured with MicronView's 405 nm Bio-fluorescent Air Monitoring System. Each is one building over one period, and it is not a result for another building. For a water system the Terms state that the Water chapter describes a Research Application, and that it does not describe a finished product currently available from C-POLAR for that use.
