Does the cleaning contractor know which components must remain untouched?
The label states: “Do not wash, vacuum, brush, blow out or reuse this filter. Do not cut, fold, trim, bend, puncture or alter the filter or its frame.”
The Terms of Use state: “The Site is informational only. It does not sell products, accept orders, quote binding prices, or process payments,” and: “These Terms do not govern the sale, delivery, installation, return, warranty, or use of a finished product.” C-POLAR markets a materials technology.
What the label sets is the filter's own replacement point and the condition it must be kept in: replace when the pressure drop reaches the value printed on the product, or at the interval printed on it, whichever comes first, and “Do not run the system with no filter in the track.” It also directs that the system be switched off at the thermostat or at the unit's disconnect before the filter access is opened, and that the access panel be closed before the system is switched back on.
