Can one floor's air system be upgraded without changing ventilation on other floors?

How a system behaves when its filters change is decided by that system, and the label sets the filter's own limits.

The label instructs: “Do not use where this filter would restrict airflow beyond the system's specification.” It also states: “Improper installation can reduce airflow or damage the equipment.” The label states: “Results in a building depend on the system, the airflow, and how well the filter fits its track.” The filter is specified by nominal size, rated airflow and maximum face velocity.

C-POLAR publishes no pressure-drop curve, no thermal model and no control logic for a building. The design, the redundancy and the alarms of that system belong to the people who run it.
