Does tumble drying affect the treatment differently from line drying?

The company publishes no result for tumble drying or for line drying.

Of the conditions listed on the Validation page, the one that concerns washing is after 60 washes. A named textile report that includes washing is this. Hong Kong Metropolitan University (formerly The Open University of Hong Kong), Test Report IRITS202102160001A, 17 February 2021, tested a plain cotton fabric, a polyester and cotton fabric and a polyester and spandex twill, each without washing and after 60 washes, under BS EN ISO 20743:2013. It covers the washing it describes and no other treatment. ISO 20743 is a contact test on fabric, and its activity value is a difference between a treated fabric and an untreated control; it is not an airborne result. The Textile page states that the NanoFlashing™ Textile has a permanent positive polarity, a fixed positive charge, and that the fabric stays waterproof, breathable, strong and washable. Those four properties are what the page says the fabric keeps. The Terms of Use state: “A reported result describes only what the identified test found.”

The Terms of Use also state that, as of their effective date, the Textiles chapter describes a Research Application, and that it does not describe a finished product currently available from C-POLAR for that use. Care instructions for a finished garment come from the party that makes and sells it.
