Is this product suitable for a designated clean-air room during wildfire smoke?

The NanoFlashing™ Air Filter is a panel filter for a forced-air system, and what it does in a room depends on that system.

The Air page states that ReinFire™ is made for homes and buildings facing wildfire smoke, and that INHALO™, a wall-mounted air cleaner built around a NanoFlashing™ Air Filter, is built to hold its airflow through a wildfire smoke season. Under wildfire smoke and ultrafine particles, the Validation page states: “In independent testing with real smoke from burning pine needles, NanoFlashing™ captured nearly 92% of ultrafine particles at 16.5 nanometres, far smaller than a coronavirus.” The report named for that testing is LMS Technologies, Report LMS#9904, 28 April 2025, a single-pass fractional efficiency test on a 24 × 24 × 2 in. pleated air filter in an ASHRAE 52.2 test duct, in accordance with standard LMS aerosol test procedures; it is a laboratory result on that filter, not a result in a room. NanoFlashing™ is passive. It generates no ozone, releases nothing, and adds nothing to what passes through. The NanoFlashing™ Air Filter is specified by nominal size, rated airflow and maximum face velocity, and its label states: “Results in a building depend on the system, the airflow, and how well the filter fits its track.” The label also states that the filter treats the air that passes through it, and that it works alongside ventilation and cleaning, not in place of them. A finished unit is chosen with the manufacturing partner that makes it, and the Terms of Use state that Site Content is not to be used to select, design, manufacture, validate, or make claims for a finished product. NanoFlashing™ is a technology; the name, rating and sale of a product that carries it are set by that product's maker and seller.
