Will a filter remain secure when a vehicle travels over rough roads?
The label for the NanoFlashing™ Air Filter sets where the filter is used: forced-air heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems in homes, businesses and institutions that take a panel filter of the stated size and run at or below the rated airflow and maximum face velocity.
How a filter is held in place is set by the housing and the track it sits in, and that comes from the maker of the equipment. The label directs that the filter sits square in the track with no gap at the frame, and states that air that passes around a filter is not treated by it. The company publishes no vibration or retention test. The Terms of Use state: “A reported result describes only what the identified test found.” They also state: “Use evidence, specifications, instructions, and warnings specific to the actual finished product and use.”
