Can a portable unit be transported repeatedly without resetting its service history?

A room air cleaner is a finished product of the manufacturer that makes it, and its controls, its power arrangement and its instructions are that maker's.

A service history is kept by the unit and by the people who run it, and C-POLAR publishes no service record and no reset rule. The NanoFlashing™ Air Filter has no electronics in it, and it records nothing. The label states when to replace it: at the pressure drop or the replacement interval printed on it, whichever comes first.
