Does a long ocean transit fall within the documented storage conditions?
An ocean transit is not one of the conditions the company has published, and it publishes no transport study.
The conditions listed on the Validation page are heavy dust loaded, fast air flow, used filter for 1 year, after 60 washes, after 2 years of storage, and after 60C for 64 days. Those are the conditions the material was tested under, and a reported result describes only what the identified test found. The Terms of Use state that a reported result must not be extended beyond the identified test article, method, control, conditions, sample and endpoint. What the label sets is where a new filter is kept: flat or on edge in the original packaging, indoors and dry, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
