What information addresses material release during use, cleaning, weathering and disposal?

The company publishes no shedding, abrasion, weathering or disposal-release study, and its statement that the filter emits nothing into the air passing through it is about a filter in use, not a shedding result.

The filter is passive. It draws no power, and it has no power supply, electrode, lamp or reservoir. The air leaving the filter has had nothing added to it. The polarity is a positive electric charge at rest.

The label directs that the filter is not washed, vacuumed, brushed, blown out or reused, so the article has no cleaning step, and it directs that the used filter and its packaging are disposed of as ordinary household or commercial waste under Federal, State and local requirements, not burned and not reused.
