Would the proposed Chinese claim place the finished product in a disinfection-product category?

The company's position is the same in every market: the filter acts by physical means, and it incorporates nothing that acts on organisms in any other way.

A charge is a physical property. It is not a substance or a mixture of substances. The filter is intended to destroy the viruses, bacteria and fungal spores it captures. It destroys them on direct contact with the positive electric charge, by physical means, and only while the organism is captured by the positive electric charge. C-POLAR has published no classification or certificate for China. How a finished product is classified in a national market is decided by that market's authority and by the party that files for it.
