Would a yes-or-no answer conceal a distinction between component evidence and product evidence?
Evidence on a component is not evidence on the finished product that contains it.
The Terms of Use state that a test of C-POLAR material, a component, or a prototype does not establish the performance of a finished product that incorporates it, and that construction, processing, storage, wear, cleaning, other components, and actual use may change the result. The Validation page names what was tested, the conditions and the institutions, and gives report and certificate numbers for the air-filtration, certification and safety records, and each report names the article it tested. Some named reports are on finished filters: LMS Technologies, Report LMS#9904, 28 April 2025, tested a 24 × 24 × 2 in. pleated air filter, and LMS Technologies, Report 6847, 5 November 2024, tested a 24 × 24 × 30 in. pocket filter; for any other finished product, the evidence is the one its maker holds.
