# Privacy Policy | C-POLAR Source: https://cpolar.tech/privacy/ C-POLAR Privacy Policy This is the text of that page, in a form a machine can read. Nothing here is paraphrased, shortened or added to. Last reviewed: 2026-09-13 On this page Effective: 18 September 2026 ## 1. Who we are and what this notice covers C-POLAR Technologies, Inc. is a Nevada corporation. It is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. “C-POLAR,” “we,” “us” and “our” mean C-POLAR Technologies, Inc. This notice covers only the public technology-marketing pages that display or link to this notice. We call these pages the “Site.” The Site does not include shop.cpolartechnologies.com, shopusa.cpolartechnologies.com, another online store that displays separate terms, or a C-POLAR page hosted on a third-party platform. Those sites and pages have separate privacy notices. The Site is informational. It does not sell products, take orders or process payments. ## 2. What we collect The contact form has fields for: - First name. - Last name. - Work email. - Company. - A message of up to 255 characters. The work email and the message are required. The form also has two required boxes. One says, “Yes, C-POLAR can email me about NanoFlashing™.” The other requires agreement to the Terms of Use and this notice. When you submit the form, we receive the information through Mailchimp. When you email us directly, we receive your email address and the information in your message. When your browser requests a page or file, it sends its IP address to the service that receives the request. Cloudflare Web Analytics also records page views, the referring page, and country and browser information derived from the request. ## 3. Why we collect it, and the legal basis Where the law requires a legal basis, we use the following bases: - We use request data to host the Site and load its maps and software libraries. Our basis is our legitimate interest in operating the Site. - We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure Site traffic and maintain the Site. Our basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the Site is used. - We use contact details and messages to receive, answer and manage enquiries. Our basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. - We use work email addresses for marketing about NanoFlashing™. Our basis is consent. We treat the checked marketing box as that consent. The form currently requires the box to be checked. - We use information to answer privacy requests, meet legal duties and handle legal claims. Our basis is a legal obligation or our legitimate interest in handling claims. ## 4. Mailchimp Mailchimp is an Intuit service. The contact form uses Mailchimp’s subscribe endpoint. When you submit the form, Mailchimp receives the submission and your IP address. It adds your work email address to a C-POLAR mailing list. The marketing box and the Terms box are separate, but both are required. You cannot use the form to send only an enquiry. Every successful contact-form submission also adds the work email address to the mailing list. The newsletter form in the footer asks for an email address and the same Terms box. It is not yet in service. Submitting it only displays a message. It does not send the address to C-POLAR or Mailchimp, and it does not add the address to a mailing list. The [Intuit Global Privacy Statement](https://www.intuit.com/privacy/statement/) explains Intuit’s own handling of personal information. ## 5. Who else receives data The Site contacts these outside services: - Cloudflare hosts the Site and provides Web Analytics. Your browser contacts Cloudflare on every page. - Carto serves map tiles from basemaps.cartocdn.com. The tiles use OpenStreetMap data. - unpkg serves the Leaflet mapping library. - jsDelivr serves the animation library. - Mailchimp receives contact-form submissions. It is contacted only when the form is submitted. Each service receives your IP address when your browser contacts it. The IP address is part of the network request. ## 6. Website technology, no cookies, no advertising, no profiling; Cloudflare analytics The Site sets no cookies. It writes nothing to browser local storage. The Site does not display a consent banner. There are no cookie or local-storage choices for a banner to manage. Cloudflare Web Analytics runs on every page. Cloudflare adds it as the Site’s hosting provider. It records page views, the referring page, and country and browser information derived from the request. Cloudflare receives your IP address when it handles the request. Web Analytics does not use cookies and does not fingerprint you. We do not use another analytics service. We do not use advertising pixels, session replay, heatmaps or profiling of any kind. We do not sell or share personal information. The services named in sections 4 and 5 receive data only for the functions stated there. The Site does not track you over time or across websites. It does not respond differently to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals because it does not sell or share personal information or use profiling. Cloudflare, Carto, unpkg and jsDelivr also serve other websites. C-POLAR does not use them to build or receive a record of your activity across websites. ## 7. Email and your choices The contact form requires you to agree to email about NanoFlashing™. Submitting the form adds your work email address to the mailing list. You can stop marketing email at any time. Email info@cpolartechnologies.com. We will remove your address from active marketing. We keep only the information needed to record that choice and prevent the address from being added again without a new request from you. Stopping marketing does not prevent us from answering an enquiry that you sent. ## 8. How long we keep information We set retention according to the purpose of each record: - We keep contact submissions and related correspondence until the enquiry and its follow-up are complete. We keep them longer when they remain relevant to an ongoing business interaction, a legal duty or an unresolved claim. - We keep an active mailing-list record while the address remains subscribed and the list remains in use. After an opt-out, we keep only the information needed to honour the opt-out. - We keep analytics reports while they are needed to measure and compare Site use. Cloudflare controls the aggregation and deletion cycle for data in its service. - Service providers keep network records according to their service controls and while those records are needed to deliver, secure or troubleshoot their services. - We keep privacy-request records until the request is complete and the record is no longer needed to show how it was handled. When a retention reason ends, we delete the information from systems we control. Copies held by a service provider then follow that provider’s deletion and backup process. A legal duty or unresolved claim can require a record to be kept longer. ## 9. Security The Site uses encrypted web connections. Contact-form submissions are sent to Mailchimp through an encrypted connection. The message field is limited to 255 characters. Send only the information needed for your enquiry. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. ## 10. Where information is processed C-POLAR is based in Nevada, US. Mailchimp stores contact-form records on systems in the US. Mailchimp and the other services named in this notice use systems in the US and other countries. This means that information can be processed outside the country from which you visit the Site. Privacy laws differ between countries. ## 11. Your rights and how to ask Depending on where you live, privacy law gives you some or all of these rights: - Ask whether we hold personal information about you. - Access that information and receive a copy. - Correct inaccurate information. - Ask us to delete information. - Restrict or object to certain uses. - Receive information you provided in a portable form. - Withdraw consent. - Appeal a refusal where the law provides that right. To make a request, email info@cpolartechnologies.com. State that it is a privacy request. Include the email address you used with us and enough information for us to find the record. We verify your identity when needed. An authorized agent must provide proof of authority. We use verification information only to handle the request. We respond within the time required by applicable law. Legal limits can apply to a request. If we refuse a request, we explain the reason where the law requires it. You can appeal by replying to our decision and stating that you want to appeal. You can also complain to the privacy regulator where you live. We do not treat you differently for making a privacy request. ## 12. Children The Site is intended for business visitors. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a contract where you live to use it. It is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly accept contact-form submissions or marketing sign-ups from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18, including a child under 13, has submitted information, contact us. We will delete the record unless the law requires us to keep it. ## 13. Links and the separate stores If you follow a link to another website, that website handles information under its own privacy notice. The stores at shop.cpolartechnologies.com and shopusa.cpolartechnologies.com are not part of the Site. Another online store that displays separate terms is also outside the Site. Each store has its own privacy notice. A C-POLAR page hosted on a third-party platform is also outside the Site. The platform’s privacy notice applies there. ## 14. Changes, effective date and how to contact us Effective date: 18 September 2026. When this notice changes, we post the replacement on this page and change the effective date. For a material change, we post a notice on the Site before the change takes effect.
