Can seasonal changes make a short pilot unrepresentative of normal use?
A result from a pilot belongs to that pilot, in that place, over that period.
The Terms of Use state: “A reported result describes only what the identified test found,” and: “A test of C-POLAR material, a component, or a prototype does not establish the performance of a finished product that incorporates it.” The label for the NanoFlashing™ Air Filter states: “Results in a building depend on the system, the airflow, and how well the filter fits its track.” It also states: “This filter treats the air that passes through it,” and: “It works alongside ventilation and cleaning, not in place of them.”
The Validation page reports its field observations separately from its laboratory testing, and describes each site and gives its period: a public hospital in Vancouver over twelve months from July 2023 to July 2024, a financial landmark in London over six months from March 2024 to September 2024, a major international airport in the United States in August 2025, and a public university in Melbourne in October 2024, each measured with MicronView's 405 nm Bio-fluorescent Air Monitoring System. What a particular pilot shows, and what is done if it shows nothing, are matters for the parties who ran it.
