Which textile performance statements survive the exact washing and finishing process planned for the garment?
The company publishes no result for a particular garment's washing and finishing process.
Building the material into a garment is the work of the partner that makes it, and that partner's own testing decides what the garment can be said to do.
The Terms of Use state: “A prospective partner or manufacturer must perform its own testing, validation, compatibility work, safety review, risk review, and quality controls for its proposed product and use.” They also state: “A test of C-POLAR material, a component, or a prototype does not establish the performance of a finished product that incorporates it. Construction, processing, storage, wear, cleaning, other components, and actual use may change the result.” The About page states that development runs configuration by configuration, and that each partner controls what is said about the work, and that the goal is a product that keeps every property it already had and gains a new capability. Hong Kong Metropolitan University (formerly The Open University of Hong Kong), Test Report IRITS202102160001A, 17 February 2021, tested a plain cotton fabric, a polyester and cotton fabric and a polyester and spandex twill, each without washing and after 60 washes, under BS EN ISO 20743:2013. ISO 20743 is a contact test on fabric, and its activity value is a difference between a treated fabric and an untreated control; it is not an airborne result.
The property itself is a charge on the material. The NanoFlashing™ Textile has a permanent positive polarity, a fixed positive charge; it is a physical property of the material, so it goes where the material goes and no further. The Terms of Use state that, as of their effective date, the Textiles chapter describes a Research Application, and that it does not describe a finished product currently available from C-POLAR for that use.
