Is positive polarity the same thing as a positively charged electric wire?
The polarity is a positive electric charge at rest.
There is no wire, no current and no power supply. The filter is passive. It draws no power, and it has no power supply, electrode, lamp or reservoir. It is measured as surface charge density, in nanocoulombs per square centimetre. The coulomb is the unit of electric charge. The National Institute of Standards and Technology gives the quantity the coulomb measures as “electric charge, amount of electricity.”
