Does an online return reason automatically trigger review of a possible product defect?

A return, and what it triggers, is handled by the seller and the maker of the product.

Every commercial NanoFlashing™ product is made by a manufacturing partner, in their facility, in their format. Development runs configuration by configuration, and each partner controls what is said about the work. The manufacturer and seller of a finished product are responsible for its design, manufacture, labeling, instructions, claims, sale, and warranty, except for a responsibility C-POLAR expressly accepts in a Separate Agreement.

What the company states about its own article is how the charge is measured. The polarity is a positive electric charge at rest. It is measured as surface charge density, in nanocoulombs per square centimetre. The charge is measured on every production run, and the measurement can be repeated on any filter, upon request. That sentence is section 2.3 of the Statement of Classification for the NanoFlashing™ Air Filter; it describes a measurement of the charge, not a production record. Production records and release decisions belong to the manufacturing partner that makes the product, and C-POLAR publishes none of them. The manufacturing and distribution partners the company names on its About and Air pages are Aero Pro, AQ Filter, BGE Indoor Air Quality Solutions, Olympic International and VOLZ Filters, and the two products it names are INHALO™ and ReinFire™. NanoFlashing™ is a technology; the name, rating and sale of a product that carries it are set by that product's maker and seller.
