Can the device manufacturer trace implanted or long-term-contact components to a specific supplied lot?

Production records and release decisions belong to the manufacturing partner that makes the product, and C-POLAR publishes none of them.

Every commercial NanoFlashing™ product is made by a manufacturing partner, in their facility, in their format, and lot identification on delivered material is a term of the agreement that governs the delivery. The Medical devices chapter describes a Research Application, and it does not describe a finished product currently available from C-POLAR for that use.

What a device manufacturer must trace, and how far back, is decided by that manufacturer under the rules that apply to it.
