How can I check that a service contractor installed the specified replacement?
What identifies the filter is printed on the filter, and the record of who fitted it belongs to the organisation that ordered the work.
The NanoFlashing™ Air Filter label carries the product name, the description “Panel air filter for forced-air heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems”, the net contents, the nominal size, the net weight, the rated airflow, the maximum face velocity, and the producer's name and address. Reading those off the filter in the track, against the specification that was ordered, is the check.
What a contractor did and when is recorded by the organisation that engaged the contractor. NanoFlashing™ is a technology; the name, rating and sale of a product that carries it are set by that product's maker and seller.
