Can compressed-air cleaning damage the material or release collected particles?

The label directs that the filter is not washed, vacuumed, brushed, blown out or reused, and the filter is replaced rather than cleaned.

The NanoFlashing™ Air Filter label instructs: “Do not wash, vacuum, brush, blow out or reuse this filter.” The Caution on the label states: “A used filter holds the dust and microorganisms it has taken out of the air. Wear gloves, and eye protection and a dust mask where dust is heavy. Put the used filter straight into a bag or waste container. Do not shake it out or blow it clean. Wash hands after handling.”

The company publishes no result for a filter that has been blown out with compressed air.
