Does an environmental risk assessment account for regional differences in waste treatment?

What a facility accepts is decided under the rules that apply to that facility, and the company publishes no assessment of a waste-treatment process.

The label states: “Dispose of the used filter and its packaging as ordinary household or commercial waste under Federal, State and local requirements. Do not burn. Do not reuse the filter.” The label states: “A used filter holds the dust and microorganisms it has taken out of the air.”
